Unfortunately the 4th April Cobbitty Market is CANCELLED

due to the Australian Government directive limiting non-essential organised gatherings to fewer than 500 people due to COVID-19 risks. We will review the situation mid-April in relation to the May market. We apologise to our loyal stallholders and customers, and appreciate your understanding in the circumstances.

The organising committee are all volunteers, and we need new members urgently. We need people to help on market day and especially with organisational tasks between markets. Meetings are held in the local area. Please contact the committee via mobile or email (as above), or pop in and see us at a market.

A Mobile ATM facility ATM2GO is now available. This facility is located in the middle driveway of the school (near the largest covered outdoor area).

In the case of torrential local rainfall, a market may be cancelled. This decision is made by the Thursday evening preceding the market. There is good drainage at the site, and cancellation is very rare (five only in the last 37 years).

A message will be placed HERE by Thursday evening if a market is cancelled. No message means the market will be on. A recorded message will also be placed on the market phone: 0438 512728.

Well-behaved and socialised dogs on leads are welcome at the market. Ensure you pick up after your dog, and be mindful to take care in busy areas and around children.

In support of the community

Did you know that Cobbitty Markets is a non-profit organisation supporting many charities? This year's charities include local Rural Fire Brigades, Sarah Hilt Foundation, Macarthur Parkinson's Support Group, CALF, local homelessness and Heal for Life Foundation just to name a few. The Committee members are all volunteers who enjoy giving something back to their community. So, by supporting our market, you are also supporting your community.
