Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking behind the school grounds on a grass field. Please follow the directions of the Traffic Controllers and RFS.
There is also parking available along Cobbitty Road.
There are a number of disabled parking spots which are marked by signs as well.
What will I find?
Our stallholders sell a wide range of hand-made goods, gifts and wares.There is always something perfect for that special gift, important occasion, or just to spoil yourself, friends or family. We also sell a selection of gourmet fresh, baked, and carefully prepared foods and produce. There are flowers, plants and seedlings as well.
Will the markets proceed in bad weather?
Unfortunately, there may be times where we need to cancel a market due to torrential local rainfall, severe weather warning or damaged grounds. This decision is made by the Thursday evening preceding the market.
A message will be placed on our website by Thursday evening if a market is cancelled as well on our Facebook page and Instagram. No message means the market will be on.
Are dogs welcome?
Well-behaved and socialised dogs on leads are welcome at the market. Ensure you pick up after your dog and be mindful to take care in busy areas and around children.

What can I sell?
Cobbitty Village markets are predominantly a craft market: produce offered for sale is primarily hand-made or produced by the stallholders, or of a unique or unusual style. Applications will not be accepted for commercially produced items available for purchase elsewhere.
A variety of stallholders are desired to help ensure a good range of product is available for sale. No stallholder will have a monopoly on any one type of goods. If your items are approved by the committee as suitable to sell at the market, and there are currently other stalls offering similar goods, or there is no sites currently available, you may be placed on a waiting list, pending a suitable vacancy becoming available for your category of products.
Food Stallholders must comply with Camden Council Regulations. All stallholders are responsible for ensuring that they comply with the applicable regulations for the industry for which their products fall under.
Do I need insurance?
Yes, all stallholders require their own public liability insurance to trade at the market
What are the stall fees?
Stall fees are to be paid the Wednesday prior to market day via EFT. New stallholders pay casual rates ($80.00 for standard 3 x 3m site) for the first THREE CONSECUTIVE markets, before being eligible for permanent rates ($60.00 for standard 3 x 3m site). Being offered a permanent site and rates is at the discretion of the Committee and subject to a suitable permanent site becoming available. As a permanent you are required to pay for every market, even if you can't attend.
What is your wet weather policy?
The market will operate in wet weather. It is the responsibility of the stallholder to bring their own covers, weights to hold down equipment and other equipment for the purpose of protection against adverse weather conditions. Please refer to our stall holder trading terms for more detail.
